You're invited this Thanksgiving to help prepare, decorate or serve dinner to friends, family and others who may not have a home in which to celebrate. Bring your friends and family and let's share our faith and celebrate our community and country. Our Thanksgiving celebration is open to the community and all are welcome to join us.
Cooking for about 300 people begins at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. Dinner is served at 4 p.m. We will need a village of volunteers to cook, set-up, clean up, decorate, serve, provide music and share the bounty of our efforts at dinner. Consider expanding your family celebration this year and join us to share in the collective spirit of thanks and gratitude for blessings that abound.
During open gym you're invited to watch football, play cards or board games, have a snack, shower or hang out.
Please contact Cathey Edwards for more information about other opportunities to serve the homeless and our community.
“Look deeply into the face of every human being on earth, and you will see His likeness. Though some may appear to be distant relatives, they are not. God has no cousins, only children.” ---Max Lucado
